About Crystal Skies

Are you insured?
Yes. Crystal Skies maintains active business insurance appropriate to aviation detailing work, including hangarkeepers liability coverage for aircraft in our care. Documentation can be provided to FBOs, hangar operators, and clients on request.
How do I request a consultation?
Book directly through our consultation page, or call (702) 337-3116. Sharing your aircraft type, airport, condition, and any photos when you reach out helps us give an accurate estimate quickly.

Services

How long does aircraft detailing take?
A trip clean is fast and designed to keep an aircraft trip-ready. Full exterior, interior, brightwork, and ceramic coating services take longer and depend on aircraft size and condition. We share timing with each quote so you can plan around your schedule.
What is brightwork polishing?
Brightwork polishing restores aircraft metal surfaces — leading edges, accents, exhaust trim, etc. — that have become dull, hazy, or oxidized. We use a multi-step sanding and polishing process — including hand sanding for heavy oxidation — to bring surfaces back to a clean, reflective, mirror-like finish where the metal allows.
What's the difference between a trip clean and a full exterior detail?
A trip clean is a fast wipe-down to keep visible surfaces looking presentable between full details. An exterior detail is a deeper service that cleans the entire aircraft, removes contamination, and applies short-term protection.
Do you offer recurring service?
Yes. Many aircraft owners and operators set up recurring trip cleans or scheduled detailing intervals. Reach out and we'll work with your schedule.
Can you detail aircraft interiors?
Yes. We offer interior detailing including wipe-down, vacuuming, carpet extraction, and leather cleaning and conditioning. The exact process is matched to the cabin's materials and condition.
Do you offer ceramic coating for aircraft?
Yes. We apply aviation-grade ceramic coatings to add a protective layer that helps make routine maintenance easier and protects exterior surfaces from oils, greases, UV exposure, and environmental contaminants.
Do you also detail cars or specialty vehicles?
Yes. We offer automotive detailing with the same precision and product standards we bring to aircraft, including ceramic coating, interior extraction, and maintenance details.

Logistics & airports

Do you come to the aircraft?
Yes. Crystal Skies is a mobile aviation detailing service. We come to your hangar, ramp position, or FBO in the Las Vegas area to detail the aircraft on-site.
What airports do you serve?
We serve aircraft owners and operators throughout the Las Vegas area, including Henderson and North Las Vegas. Specific airport and FBO access depends on the location's policies — ask about your airport and we'll confirm what's possible.
Do you work in hangars or on the ramp?
Both, where the location and aircraft allow. We follow the airfield and FBO's safety procedures and coordinate with the responsible party before starting work.

Products & process

Are your products safe for aircraft?
We use products selected for aircraft surfaces and materials, including aviation-recognized cleaners and protectants. The exact products used depend on the aircraft, materials, and service.

Pricing & quotes

How much does aircraft detailing cost?
Pricing depends on aircraft size, condition, service type, location, and access. The fastest way to get an accurate estimate is to request a quote with your aircraft type, airport, and photos if available.
What information do you need to price a job?
Aircraft type, airport or location, the service you're interested in, your timeline, and a quick description of the aircraft's current condition. Photos are helpful but not required.
